Renaissance Hotel Business Bay

This steel fram building was originally designed as an office tower but in the 2014 was decided to be turned into a 5 stars hotel. Has been necessary then to check both globally and locally the existing structure under the new design load and some of the existing members have been found inadequate requiring then a strengthening. Particularly challenging has been the podium where the new architectural design has located a meter-deep swimming pool. This project was completed as part of the team, prior to the establishment of Re-New Engineering and Energy Solutions.
